Kids, teens & braces questions

Child at dental visit Teen smiling

We want young patients to feel safe coming to the dentist. That means age-appropriate explanations, patience with wiggly kids, and celebration of small wins—like a successful first cleaning.

First visits

We often recommend a “happy visit” for toddlers: meet the chair, count teeth, done. As kids grow, we add fluoride conversations, sealants when molars erupt, and sport mouthguard talk for student athletes.

Teens & orthodontics

If you’re coordinating with an orthodontist, we’ll align cleaning schedules and watch for hygiene challenges that brackets can create. We’re happy to speak with parents and teens together so everyone hears the same plan.
